Domestic semiconductor equipment manufacturers are gradually improving their product lines and breaking through their respective advantageous links.

Data shows that the localization rate of de gluing equipment has reached over 90%, the localization rate of cleaning equipment, heat treatment equipment, and etching equipment is about 20%, and the localization rate of PVD equipment and CMP equipment is 10%. In addition, zero breakthroughs have been achieved in lithography machines, ion implantation machines, and measurement equipment, and significant progress has been made in testing equipment.

The reporter learned that according to data previously released by SEMI, global semiconductor equipment shipments in the second quarter of 2021 increased by 48% year-on-year, reaching a record high of 24.9 billion US dollars, an increase of 5% compared to the previous quarter. The shipment volume of semiconductor equipment in Chinese Mainland topped the world, up 38% month on month compared with the first quarter, and 79% year-on-year to 8.22 billion US dollars.

According to the information on the Chinese government procurement bidding website, Changjiang Storage added 7 process equipment tenders and won 13 process equipment bids last week; Shanghai Jita won the bid for 2 new process equipment last week. The bidding for 7 units includes 6 CVD units and 1 cleaning unit; Among the 13 newly awarded bids, there are 2 CMP machines from Huahai Qingke, 1 etching machine from Yitang Semiconductor, 1 cleaning machine from Shengmei Semiconductor, 7 cleaning machines from Japan Screen, and 2 annealing machines from Chengdu Leipu.

In addition, Shanghai Jita won the bid for two new ones, including one degumming equipment from U Chain in Taiwan, China, China, and one ion implantation equipment from AMAT in the United States.
