On February 17, the centralized launch of new projects in Shenzhen in the first quarter of 2022 and the centralized signing of key projects were held, including a total of 245 new projects and 11 centralized signing projects. In terms of newly started projects, these projects involve major infrastructure projects, major science and technology and industrial projects, and major livelihood projects, with a total investment of about 235.47 billion yuan, and the planned investment in 2022 is about 44.39 billion yuan.

The 11 newly signed projects, involving 11 enterprises including Huawei, include biomedical and health, new generation information technology, new materials, green and low-carbon, modern logistics, business logistics and other industries, with a total investment of about 21.31 billion yuan, and the planned investment in 2022 is about 1.37 billion yuan.

Huawei's investment in Foton attracts attention. It is understood that the newly signed Huawei digital energy headquarters and R & D base project located in Xiangmihu, Futian District, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan, will mainly carry out online energy metering technology research and development, new energy technology research and development, energy recovery system research and development. The construction of this project is conducive to promoting the agglomeration and development of the "double carbon" industrial chain and building a good industrial ecology of "technological research + achievement transformation".
